Many people get confused on Christianity, Religious and Church-going. one can be a Christian , religious and a Church-goer but, a church-goer isn't always a Christian neither can a Religious person , why? Christianity in my perspective according to the word of God is a way of life in which 'Christians' act like Christ, hence the term 'Christian'. Contrary to that, Religious people adhere to the Christian laws as a tradition , not necessarily believing in it. so if for a example a family has family bible studies every Saturday, the tradition continues from generation to generation thus becomes a religious act. Finally, Church-goers, like religious people just go to Church because they either grew up in a home where going to Church was compulsory or was done to please society and not necessarily adhering to the laws governing the Church.
In conclusion, we need to know where we fall, are we Religious , Church-goers or
Christians? keep in mind that being a Christian you can have the religious and church-going trait , but that's just to support your faith.
